Just starting in WF8, and I have created a new routine in the "content" section in Dev Studio. I call the routine from an html page and get the following error:
ERROR: MR_UNKNOWN_ERROR Item does not exist IBFS:/WFC/overtime|app|Overtime_Report_2.fex
I can call existing units successfully, but if I try to call my new unit I get stonewalled. I've published, I've given everyone Run rights but no dice. When I switch the focexec called in the html file to one that existed previously all works properly. Any insights?
Given that 'Overtime_Report_2' is a new focexec, i.e., didn't go through MR 7-> 8 conversion, I think you'll need to call with RESTful web services, rather than servlet.
Thank you very much! Alas, I ripped it all out of MRE and put it into an apps directory. I'm mailing a copy of your solution to myself so that I will be able to find it next time though.
It appears I will have to bone up on restful services.
By the way, adding &IBIF_wfdescribe=NONE in your url kills the autoprompt regardless of the system setting. I learned that one myself.
