Hi, I am a new user to WebFOCUS. I am using 7.1.3 WebFOCUS developer studio. The problem, i am facing is related to report painter. Whenever i try to open report painter, an error is pop up, "FAILED TO GET THE LIST OF MASTER FILES, THE SERVER NAME COULDNOT BE RESOLVED". Otherwise i am able to work in text editor and execute report successfully.
chirag, Did you go to the master files in data server and check for any discrepancy?? Did you check whether the right Database is connected to the procedure .FEX file you are executing??
Possibly you could have a JAVA issue, or a pop up blocker issue. I was having some strange issues recently and had to uninstall JAVA and reinstall it before every thing would work.
