I noticed this post from 4 years ago [CASE-OPENED] Alignment option on column totals and am wondering if it was ever fixed and if it is now broken in 8.2? Because I can't seem to find a way to center my column totals although I can center the title and the data.

Doug, the December webinar "Reports for the Board, not Bored" was for AppStudio, not InfoAssist. But thanks for the thought! There doesn't appear to be any alignment grid or other option for subtotals in InfoAssist. This message has been edited. Last edited by: DWaybright,

Sorry about that... It's not intuitive even in 8204.
However, I got this handy tip from a Friend of mine, Focal Point: TomsWeb, that will accomplish what you're asking for. It's a few steps, as follows:
1) Style the whole report as 'Centered'. 2) Goto to each Column in the report and style it as Left or Right justified, as required, and whatever other formats that you want. 3) Wah Lah... Done...
I'm not sure (imho) why you want "to center my column totals" when the data is left justified. Unless you're already centering the associated data columns, which would make them hard to read as the numbers wouldn't be aligned.

Doug, Thanks for the code, but I'm actually posting on behalf of one of my users -- they only use IA. The data in the column he is working with is centered. He knows it will be a single digit number, so the column will look fine, but he thinks it is weird that the column is centered but then the total is right justified. Sounds like I need to open a case if we want this option added to InfoAssist.

You could center justify your grand total line with a custom style sheet. Save it where the other style sheets are located. Then open the fex in which you want to useselect it
