Thank you Francis !! I've been battling this same issue for weeks - report runs fine in Dev Studio but fails when run under ReportCaster. Removing the &ECHO fixed it ...
Things running smoothly is greatly to be desired, but when they run out of control things can get very messy ... which reminds me I'm due for a colonoscopy soon ...
Francis 's suggestion really worked. once I took off the Echo, it run well in my devlopment enviroment. howeverm when I move it into our production enviroment. I got a differnt error below:" Task error: Invalid type of argument #1 for user function DATECVT". I don't know what to do now. I did not got that error when I run it in Dev
I did not use DATECVT function in my report. I asked our administrator to check any settings and did not find anything different bewteen Dev and Prod. any more suggestion?
I have to set the ECHO off to make the report run in report castor. if I turn it on, it won't run. correct one thing I said. I DO use the DATECVT in my report code.
