Hi All, Have anyone encountered a scenario where SAP Infocube was used as a source to WebFOCUS reports? Is "WebFOCUS for SAP" linked in any way to above mentioned scenario? If yes, is there a need to license this seperately?
To summarize, is "WebFOCUS for SAP" the only way (if it is) to connect from SAP infocube to WEbFOCUS thereby utilising the complete functionality of Infocubes (like slicing, dril-thru etc)?
We are in the process of going through documents to find this out. But any pointers would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance, Shyam LThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

As far as I know the SAP info cubes reside within the SAP BW product. To read data from these cubes there is a seperate adapter available from IB, the SAP BW adapter. It is not the same as Webfocus for SAP. Consult your local IBI representative.

Gamp is correct the WebFOCUS SAP R/3 and SAP BW adapters are 2 different very different beasts.
For the R/3 adapter you must install IB function modules to the R/3 system for BW you only require and RFC connection (and the correct authorizations of cause).
The full documentation for both adapters is available in the help system available in the WebFOCUS server console.
or specifically for BW \ibi\srv76\home\doc\dbbwbapi.html
