How do I add spaces in the code?
/t? /n?
You just think, they're the same size. Assuming you have not set an output style and are using HTML, that is a quirk with the way HTML renders (multiple spaces are truncated/displayed to one). You have to specify spaces to print as
Charles, please elaborate on your "Double Space" requirement. Does "how I can Add a space inbetween every line" mean you want a blank line after each report line? Also, for which format - PDF or HTML? This all matters because there are different ways to accomplish what you need.
To have a blank line after each report line, add a SUBFOOT to the last BY statement, something like this:
DEFINE FILE CAR
DUMMY1/A1 = '';
END
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM SALES
BY COUNTRY
BY CAR
BY MODEL SUBFOOT
" "
ON TABLE SET PAGE NOLEAD
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
TYPE=REPORT, SQUEEZE=ON,
FONT='ARIAL', SIZE=8,
BORDER=1, BORDER-COLOR=SILVER,
$
ENDSTYLE
END
By the way, this really has nothing to do with . If you need to embed a "Non-Breaking Space" in an HTML file, use
If the HTML is contained in a fex, use
&|nbsp;
to avoid the Dialogue Manager behaviour - the concatenate character prevents DM from assuming it's an amper variable.
