Looking for an IBI document on when Managed Reporting is right for a project/application. What does Managed Reporting give you that a non MR application doesn't.
I have searched the IBI documentation library but came up empty...has anyone had better luck?

To add a bit of detail...my webFOCUS administrator is thinking this new project won't be built inside Managed Reporting. So what does that mean? No domain level security, no build dashboard builder? Those are the items I know, I am trying to locate the other items that would help sway me either way.
Thank you.

If you are not using MRE, you will have to handle security, menus, etc yourself.
You can also tailor the site to what you want as well.
I think which way depends on what the application is required to do.

Thank you for the information.
So Composer, Report Painter, Graph Assistant, Alerts, and Report Scheduler all work?

Yes, those will work. You'll lose key features like report library, security is the biggest.
Thanks, Sayed
