I recently had a hard drive crash and had to re-install WebFOCUS.

Now my HTML files and FEX files show the same icon in explorer (in the Name column). They used to be different. (The Type column is OK).

Where can I change this?

Thanks,

From a Windows XP point of view:

  • Open Windows Explorer
  • Click Tools / Folder Options
  • Select Tab File Types
  • Find and select the extension
  • Click Advanced
  • Click Change Icon
  • Click Browse
  • Navigate to Dev Studio Installation \ bin
  • Choose one of the dll or exe files and pick an icon

There may be easier ways to do this, but that is what I remember.

I'm using Windows 7 and see nothing that looks like "Tab File Types".

Go to Control Panel / Default Programs / Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program.

Locate the file extension that you want to change and click on the Change Program button.
