Can anyone help on how i can automate the scenario creation in webfocus report caster through the Export functionality option provided under report caster.
As,when we create new scenario on webfocus, it gets stored on export directory.
So, is there any way that everyday new scenario is created automatically with sysdate appended and get stored into export directory at below location.

While we wait for others to possibly reply can you clarify a bit more on "scenario creation in webfocus report caster " and "new scenario " Are you referring to tasks that are set up to run jobs (reports)?
Usually change management saves the 'scenario' to the indicated folder. Change management can not be fully automated.
Please provide a bit more clarity on what you are trying to automate.
Thank you for participating in the Focal Point Forum.

I just want to say that when we create 'New Scenario' using the export option present in Webfocus report caster. after that we can select the reports folders whichever we want for scenario creation. The scenario is then created and saved on ibi/WebFOCUS80/cm/export directory. So, is there a way this can be done by scheduling the scneario creation on daily basis.
Please let me know if we can automate this manual process.
Did you ever get an answer on this one? I am looking to automatically export on a schedule and then copy the export files to my DR server. Just curious if this has been done.
This is a very old post and I never see cool_dev on FP any more. Are you really still on WebFOCUS 7.6? There is not a WebFOCUS way to automatically schedule the export that I am aware of. I would suggest opening a case with techsupport
Thank you for using Focal Point!
