Nitu Jainno agents on EDASERVE
Hi,
I get following error very often. Please tell me how to resolve the same.
"
There are no agents available on server: EDASERVE
Please notify your server administrator.
"

Tony ANitu,
Click on the Technical Documentation Library link in the top right of this page and then select iWay/EDA for the Product. Select the relevent release and type "no agents" in the search box. Once you have submitted the form you will be presented with many documents that will help you over this problem as well as explaining certain configuration settings that would take this Forum an age to explain to you - not that there isn't the knowledge, just the time!!

KameshThis issue is because you have only minimal number of agents and all agents engaged with some task. Sometimes the agents will become idle bcoz of the program error. You have to go to agents and Kill those agents for further use.
To Kill agents,
1. goto Webfocus server console

ort/cgiatt.exe[/URL]
2. Workspace --> Monitor --> Agents
3. Click the agents shows as idle and it will show the menu Kill Agent.
Note: Remember you can do the above only if you are admin.
2. To avoid this issue in future, Increase the number of agents.
