I have a user who has a fex she developed in the gui. Please bear with me -- as I am not a gui person -- when you open the fex in the gui tool --> click Where/IF --> on the Where tab click Assist --> double click Compare Value --> click the ellipses button and then click Get Values --- the list of values does not populate for her.
If I follow those steps, I do get the list of values. As a workaround, I have her modifying the WHERE statement code directly and she can get the data she wants -- but she is not happy about doing it that way. I've tried to do some research on this -- but I'm not sure how to query the issue.
Before I enter a case, I thought I would see if someone has had this issue in the past. thanks in advance for any assistance. simbaThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

Is the user doing this in Developer Studio or MRE/Report assist? Does she run into same problem if she tries with CAR file? Is there an environment difference between you and her (ie, Internet Explorer version, Java version)?

thanks for the quick response. She is doing this in Dev Studio. We both are using the same version of Dev Studio. I did go to her machine and if I log into Dev Studio with my ID, then the values show but this doesn't work with her ID. I couldn't think of what would cause the difference. This has worked for her in the past and stopped working last Friday. I am an admin and I didn't make any changes to our WF configuration or her ID. I'm not sure what would cause this issue. Thanks.

I double checked her security and she has access to the OLAP cube. I will compare her profile to mine to see if there are any differences. Thanks for the responses. simba

I entered a case with IBI and they suggested that I recreate the wfscom.xml file located in: C:\Documents and Settings\USERID\Application Data\Information Builders. I did that and now she gets the list of values. simba
