Understanding the ReportCaster Failover Feature

In the later 7.6.x releases and in the 7.7.x release, ReportCaster has a feature known as “Failover” that provides a backup distribution server. To use this feature, the client installs a second distribution server. Then, using the hostname and port number of the servers, one of the servers is designated as the primary distribution server and one as the secondary distribution server.
