I just implemented the LDAP security on our webfocus server and i am able to connect to the webconsole using my novell login and password.
Now that i am trying to use devstudio after setting up the creditenials i am getting the following error:

Failed to logon to webfocus reporting server EDASERVE.

Any idea about what could cause this?

Is it possible that you've hard coded a default user id and password in Dev Studio (Show Environments) or within the WebFOCUS Client (WebFOCUS Admin Console, Configuration, Reporting Server)

Cookie is on the right track. Right click on your environment in DevStudio and select Properties. On the WebFOCUS Client, DataServers, and Managed Reporting/ReportCaster buttons, make sure you have proper credentials for LDAP and MRE for your environment.
