[SOLVED] Dashboard view - v7703 does not bring up available views

Before v7703 when I went to :
http://myserver/ibi_apps/Controller

I would get a list of available views to select from. Now I get the first view and from it I can select ohter views.

Does anyone know if this is a design change or a setting that I may have missed.

Are you looking for a list of Group or Public Views?

In your new environment, is the user you're logging in with assigned to all the groups that you're expecting to see views for?

There are some settings that control what happens once you login to B.I. Dashboard and the default behaviour is not what you might be expecting. Take a look at the Managed Reporting Administrator's Manual. Among many things discussed is the option "GoToPersonalViewOnLogin" - a true/false option - this *may* be what you're looking for.

Thx, found that it states: GoToPersonalViewOnLogin setting in the bid-config.xml
file (located in the WebFOCUS76\worp\conf directory) is set to "true" or "false".

So I assume I have to change the actual XML. Just making sure before I actually change it...

Brenda, it would be C:\ibi\WebFOCUS77\worp\conf. Just be careful - make a backup, and maybe compare the v77 file to the v76 one.
