"A script on this page is causing IE to run slowly. If itr continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive." this is the error message i get, locks up my computer, when i have even 100 records. I can only seem to get AR towork on really tiny datasets...is that anyone else's experience?

We were testing Active Reports - and anything over 3000 records locked us up. We have decided to wait on Active Reports till they have an improvement in performance and the number of lines that can be produced. It's a good idea...it just needs some work.

The limit is supposed to be around 5K. And remember, you don't want it too big. One of the benefits is to be able to work offline. All the data is stored in the page which is I expect is part of the limiting process.
Susannah, I see that you have 764. In the lastest WebFOCUS Newsletter, there is a nice article on Active Reports Dashboards written by Adam Lowtrowki. It highlights some new features of the HTML Layout Painter including being able to create tabs and coordinated AR dashboards that are available in 764.
