Does anyone know how to control the page numbering so that you can get the Page 1 of n functionality? Right now, I have two reports on a page and they each do page numbering. Trouble is, Report 1 shows page 1 and Report 2 shows page 2 even though they are on the same PDF page. I am using the compound document option with coordination off. With coordination on, I get Report 1 shows page 1 and Report 2 shows page 6. All I want is the PDF to show page 1, 2, 3, etc. regardless of how many reports are actually painted on the page. Any ideas?

Don't know as you can get there from here as the saying goes. If I interpret you correctly on what you want is report page numbers to match the page tab in Adobe Reader.

Then create a PDF Page Master. At the location where you want the page number of N, create a text box on this page. Double click on the text box then right-click on the same box and select Insert > from the pop-up menu. One of the choices is 'Page n of n'. Select it and it will be inserted into the text box and on to all pages of your document EXCEPT the TOC.
I hope this helps. Greg

Oh my my my. Unbelievable! Works like a charm and it was right under my nose, or under the menu at least. The page numbering works although the spacing could be improved. I end up with:
You helped immensely. Thanks Greg
