We are still mirgrating to WF8 and almost done. One of my outstanding issues is that I have not been able to get Auto_Open macros with EXL07 templates to run unless Protected View is completely disabled. With EXL2K templates, depending on their EXCEL Trust Center settings, users may or may not get the Protected View bar when opening a sheet. However, if they do get the bar and click on Enable Editing, the Auto_Open macro runs. With EXL07 templates, it does not. It has to manually be run. Has anyone else come across this and is there a solution?

Recenlty, we migrated our OS from XP to 7 and most of our reports are EXCEL format.Out of which few of them are macro.

7.6.11 won't support xlsm/xltm, so to make it work in Win 7, again go back to XP machines, save the template as .mht & move it to the servers.

Not yet started our migration.Confused

Rifaz, all you have to do to solve your problem is to keep a copy of Excel 2003 on your Win7 PC. That's what we do but I want to get away from Excel 2003 for numerous reasons.
