I have a smart date which I derive from:

DEFINE FILE CAR
T2DATE/YYMD = &YYMD;
A6DATE/ = ;
END


How do I convert the smart date to an
A6 format (YYMMDD)to use in
the WHERE statement:

quote:

TABLE FILE BLAH-BLAH
PRINT
STONES
BY ROCKS
WHERE RECDATE EQ A6DATE ;
END


Note: RECDATE is an A6 format date.

Personally, I'd always do things the other way around - change the A6DATE to a YYMD Smartdate and then do the WHERE .....
