I have a situation where I would want to redirect the user to the main (first tab) based on a selection. Can I do this using javascript? If so, how?This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
Version: 8.0.0.6 Windows platform All output formats will probably be used.
A quick search of techsupport site returns the following:
The HTML Composer allows one to write custom javascript code. When in a function like a validation routine the function can change the Tab that is being displayed by executing the following function:
function showAnotherTab(ctrl) {
var tabcontrol = document.getElementById("tabitem1");
var e = document.createEventObject();
tabcontrol.fireEvent('onClick', e );
} //End function showAnotherTab
Cheers,
Kerry
