This is strictly a FOCUS Web Server issue - no FOCUS code involved. I want to be able to use External Style Sheet in our WebFOCUS application to improve the formatting / styling of our HTML Menus. However the Test WebFOCUS Web server seems to ignore an External SS if it is not in the same folder as the HTML file that invokes it.
This works if it is a windows box, not if it is AIX what are we doing incorrectly or is this a bug?!This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

Rhonda, It all depends on how the stylesheet is invoked. If you do it by means of the SET CSSURL command, then this should be a fully qualified and absolute http address. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best way to do it. When you put in relative address, there is really no guarantee that it will be found by the webserver.

Just a guess, but your CSS probably resides on your windows server. Therefore, your windows applications can find it in the app path. But that path doesn't mean anything to your AIX server. As GamP said the best way is to use a fully qualified address. The alternative is to maintain 2 copies, one on each server.

Thanks to all of you who responded. What was discovered was that the permissions was not set correct on the last directory. Once that was corrected, it worked great!
