I am updating a Maintain form that was developed by someone else, so I'm new at this. How do you change a column width in a Maintain form? This message has been edited. Last edited by: <Kathryn Henning>,
Hi Angie In order to make changes to a Maintain form, you need to open the MNT file in the Maintain Development Environment or MDE. You have to make sure that the MNT file that you are going to operate on contains the XML code to recreate the forms. Open the MNT file in an editor and look at the bottom, past the END statement. If you see the XML code then you will be able to open this form an make changes. If no XML code exists, then you have a deployed version and you have to locate the original file to make changes.
Once you open the form in the MDE, you can double click on the control and make changes to the columns.
