I'm trying to use bursting reports via email and I have a fex file (named piemail) that dynamically creates the distribution file with ACCOUNT_UNIT as VALUE and EMAIL as DEST. In the report caster set up, I've selected my fex file, piemail, for the dynamic distribution but I'm getting the following error message.
Error retrieving records for distribution list:bgryfak/piemail 42S22
Server Environment: Win2K3 Server WebFOCUS 7.13 Apache Tomcat standalone application server
Someone just called to my attention a large billing process that creates a 560 page pdf document and burts to 560 different email addresses. This has been in production for some time, and now a few of the recipients are getting a pdf file that won't open.
We're using release 5.2.8 and the code runs fine outside of ReportCaster. I have no idea how to test this, I don't want to send bills out again. Report is not compound.
If anyone has any ideas, feel free to pass them along! These old postings are helpful! I'm going to try changing where the ASNAMES is set and pray that it helps!
Thanks and have a good weekend! Carol
