Kerry[TECHNIQUE] Developer Studio Release 8: InfoAssist Graph Tool
Developer Studio Release 8: InfoAssist Graph Tool Replaces All Other Graph Toolsby Maria Volant
In prior releases of Developer Studio, Information Builders has provided different graph tools that are usable depending on the area of Developer Studio with which you are working. In Release 8 of Developer Studio, we officially introduce InfoAssist as the only graph tool available to customers in all areas of Developer Studio where they are able to build a graph.

Norb EckertKerry,
I read the article and understand how InfoAssist will be leveraged for graphing. However, my understanding is that InfoAssist is a product that is licensed separately from Developer Studio. Does this mean that we need to obtain InfoAssist to do graphing in version 8?
Thanks,
Norb

KerryHi Norb,
From our product management: From within developer studio you do not need an InfoAssist license to do charting. Only to use it from within the old BI Dashboard or the new BI Portal.
Hope this helps,
Kerry
