[CLOSED]ReportCaster remote server script execution
Can ReportCaster execute a Linux script (*.sh or *.ksh) on a remote / non-WebFOCUS server?

Maybe it's a brain freeze moment.

You should be able to execute a fex on a WebFOCUS server that runs an sshagent task. The sshagent then runs the script on the remote linux host.

You'll probably want to put a public key for the agent user on the remote linux host and a private key for the same user on the WebFOCUS server for use with sshagent.

I've done that in the past without the involvement of WebFOCUS, but not frequently enough to remember all the details. Google knows the answers though, that's what I usually do when this comes up Wink
