[SOLVED] charting - hovering over line on chart, where do you format $ sign?

Here's my dilemma. I have a dual axis chart. Left side has Count, right side has Dollars, bottom (ordinal axis) has 12 Months across. What I want to happen is when you hover over the Dollar line and the pop up displays, I would like to have a $ sign display with the number, with commas. How do you accomplish this formatting??

then

setTextFormatPattern(getDataText(),"$###,###"); for leading $

or

setTextFormatPattern(getDataText(),"###,###$"); for trailing $

setTextFormatPreset(getDataText(),-1);
and
setTextFormatPattern(getDataText(),"$###,###");
to work for me. Thank you for your help.
