I have created a template for Excel Quick Data and refresh this every week. This week, when I opened up my Excel Quick Data template and tried to refresh, the only option that was given to me is "Create Query". It seems that the template lost the saved Query that I've been using for weeks. Is there a way for me to recover the Query?

Quick Data is a new Add-On Leah. You can query a table directly from Excel. We recently implimented it here...but I can't answer his quetion...not enough experience yet.

Agreed that Quick Data is a new add-on but it still equates to a web query within Eggshell and as such if the query is lost from the workbook then something is wrong with Eggshell and not WebFOCUS. Therefore I would look to see what is being actioned within the workbook or what is being run to overwrite it?

If your environmental setup is correct and robust, then the recovery of the query should not be any problem. It has been running okay for weeks, so you must have a backup of the sheet with the query still intact. Restore it from the backup and you're ok. As to the reason of why this happened, I agree with Tiny - it's an MS problem, not webfocus.
