HI all, We have to do some changes to webfocus source code. Can some one knew generally where this source code is in UNIX boxes. I am looking under /opt/ibi/.........
Pls advice. Thanks inadvanceThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
There is not really a "usual" location for the code since a system administrator can configure it according to her own admin policies.
One way I use to locate code is by asking Unix to do it for me This works even if Idon't know exactly what the focexec full name is.
Let's assume you need to find a procedure whose name contains the word "test" and all you know is that it might be installed somewhere under "/opt":
find /opt -name '*test*.fex' -print
That command will give you the location of the file(s) provided it exists under /opt. You may also try to start your search from the root directory (/) but it all depends on which permissions your Unix userid has.
Do you have perhaps a directory /opt/ibi/apps? I would start my search there.
