I have created a launch page to allow users to create in HTML,PDF or EXL2K display format.
The report that is launched allows for drilldown to two other (summary and detail reports in the DIVISION column. I have noticed that the html page allows drill to either summary or detail reports via a hover link but the excel and pdf format reports do not.
Is there any special conditions I must code for to provide multi drill from the excel and pdf reports?
As N Selph mentions, multiselects are only possible from HTML. This is due to the fact that a mouseover event trigger is used to execute JS to build the small menu.
You could COMPUTE two addtional columns to contain, maybe, an S and a D and then hyperlink these instead. Not quite a hoverover menu but it would still provide both drill options no matter what output format.

I ran some search on Information Builders' online documents and came to the understandig that, Multiple DrillDown is only supported for HTML or HTMLTABLE as stated in the Help File (No multiple DrillDown capability for PDF or Excel: http://techsupport.informationbuilders.com/sps/90631016.html). The following topic on multiple drilldowns may be of interest as well:
