As of December 1, 2020, Focal Point is retired and repurposed as a reference repository. We value the wealth of knowledge that's been shared here over the years. You'll continue to have access to this treasure trove of knowledge, for search purposes only.

I have an in-house WebFOCUS application that consists of: 1. Presentation Tier - HTML/JS/CSS rendered within an IE browser. 2. Business/Data Tier - z/OS focexecs/datasets.
We are on WF 5.2.8.
Our data maintenance pages currently, allow the user to update/add/delete one record at a time.
I'd like to create a page that allows for multiple record processing.
The Data Grid Object in VB .Net is good example of the type of thing I am looking for.
I did a quick search on the web for 'JavaScript Grid Object', but received too large of a result set to be of much value to me.
So my question is: Can you recommend a 'template' or have any suggestions, relative to building a grid using HTML, JS, and CSS?
I know WebFOCUS Maintain has a grid object, but for us Maintain is not an option.

Please be aware that even though something might work. Does not mean you are licensed for it. Generally speaking from what I have been told is that if you are using Modify in a report request where the data is temporary (Only for that request) that it is generally ok to use MODIFY even if you do not have a MAINTAIN License however if the data that is being changed by the MODIFY will be around after the request completes that would require a MAINTAIN License. Just check with your IBI Sales Rep. to be safe.
If you purchase the FOCUS Database Adapter allows you to keep your focus database around after your request is complete. Because you have to maintain them in some way MODIFY or MAINTAIN, if you have a MAINTAIN License, then you should be able to use MODIFY for those FOCUS databases only.
