Need to combine two reports...one is detailed with 30-40 lines, the other is a one-liner. Can that one-line report output be placed in the footer. (We have tried numerous ways to combine these into 1 fex, but it became too problematic). Thanks!

Have you tried holding your on-line report as FORMAT ALPHA or saving it, and then using -INCLUDE to place it in a FOOTING?

TABLE FILE xxx
 PRINT/SUM ...
 ON TABLE SAVE AS REPORT1
END
-*
TABLE FILE xxx
 PRINT/SUM ...
 BY ...
 FOOTING
  "
-INCLUDE REPORT1.FTM
  "
END

If WF balks at processing the FOOTING in this manner, you may need to add the quotes to the saved on-line report output:

DEFINE FILE xxx
 QUOTE/A1 = '"';
END
-*
TABLE FILE xxx
 PRINT/SUM
  QUOTE
  ...
  QUOTE
 ON TABLE SAVE AS REPORT1
END

What is the format of the one liner?
Is it the same as the main part of the report.

Can you hold the values of the one liner then -READ them into amper varables and stick them in the footer.
