I'm trying to do a select * from an oracle table that has a clob field in it.
SET SQLENGINE=SQLORA
SQL SET SERVER &MYSERV
SQL SELECT * FROM PAL.SD;
TABLE
ON TABLE HOLD AS SD_HOLD
END
However, I receive this error...
(FOC1400) SQLCODE IS -1 (HEX: FFFFFFFF) (FOC1665) UNSUPPORTED DATA TYPE IN ORACLE INTERFACE L (FOC1405) SQL PREPARE ERROR.
The master file looks like this for that field... FIELD=INVENTION_DESCRIPTION ,INVENTION_DESCRIPTION, TX50 ,TX ,MISSING=OFF,$
I looked at the master file for this table and noticed that the format was different. I tried changing the .mas to make this field a clob but that didn't seem to work. I received the same error. Does anyone know what I need to do to get my select * to work with a clob field?
