I would like to create a report that shows a report on several people in our database but I would like each person’s information on a separate page in format similar to a letter. Because of the nature of our data, I cannot hold it all in one table file and then display it all in the header (and I would like more control over the style than just putting in the header allows). It seems the document composer would be the best option for this since it is in the page format and several reports can be referenced allowing me to have more control over the style, but I am wondering if there is a way to allow each person to show up on separate page. Any suggestions? It would basically be a mail merge. Thanks in advance! This message has been edited. Last edited by: cdeal,
I had never heard of the PERSON PAGE BREAK so thank you! But it turns out building a PDF compound report with the composer worked exactly how I needed it to. I just created about 6 reports using the same parameters in each report and it works just fine. As long as the sort value is the same in all reports, each person shows up on each page for each of the reports, providing me with exactly what I needed.
