What kind of data base are you using for your repository, FOCUS dbs or relational. If the latter, go to the check log section of the RC client, go to the System entry, then run the log for schedule SYSP0000. Check to see the last time the log purge ran.
If a FOCUS db, check to make sure they are not full.
I hope that gives you a start. Post your progress so that we can further assist you.
Thanks for the suggestions. However, as I am quite new to how it all setup, where and how do I check what you are suggested? For example, where is the System entry? and how do I run the log for schedule SYSP0000?
Thanks

Are you the WF admin? If not, you should contact the WF admin. Also please answer why kind of repository you have, FOCUS DB or relational tables. That answer will color our answers.
Fron the home page of the Report Caster client, click on Schedule Log. Click on 'system' in the left pane. In the right pane, right-click schedule SYSP0000 and select Open. From there, start with 'Last Executed' and if that doesn't give you any clues, use the calendar on that wizard to select more days to view.
Now if your RC repository is a FOCUS DB, this exercise will not help you as the autopurge doesn't work for that. Rather than write anymore at this point, get us the answer on the repository type and if relational what you see when you look at the auto log purge log.
Sorry, then, I can't help you. I haven't worked with 5.2 in over 4 years and just can't remember.
Talk to your DBA's to see if your Oracle tables for BOTLOG and BOTLOG2 are full and/or generating errors of any sort.
If you still have manuals for 5.2, check the rcadmin one for how to purge the log. I found a 5.3 one and there is no SYSP0000 job. Sorry, I wasn't paying attention to your release.
If none of that helps, you'll need to open a case.
