I am trying to get started with using FLEX Enable to create a simple dashboard. I was able to follow the instructions to create the loading xml file, to add the link to it in the seturl field, but now I'm stuck. Does anyone have any samples on how to create drill downs from a pie chart, for example? I already created a "detailed" report, but I really can't figure out if I need that and how to pass the parameter I want to drill down on to this report.
I already looked in this document and can't find anything about drill downs...
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you,This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,

There was a recent post on this exact subject but I can't seem to find it right off. Drills in flex are not handled the same way as with WF, and in the version I have this has to be handled with Action Script. This link may get you going. I have an example in one of my graphs somewhere - I'll see if I can find it.

Darin

which is a previously defined function where the url is built:
public function pieDrillACC(event:ChartItemEvent ):void { var FLD:String="ACC_GRP" ; var ACC:String="" ; var YEAR:String = ""; var LOCATION:String = ""; ACC = event.hitData.item.ACCIDENTTYPE;

Thank you Darin, this definitely got me started! I am now able to click on the chart and get something, not a very pretty something yet, but it's a start.
Ask one of the SE's from your local branch office. When I started with the Flex Enable stuff, our local SE gave me the code for some of those examples which is precisely where I got the code and technique that I posted.

Darin
