I am using source control on a localhost project but the file icons do not change when adding files, checking them out, etc. Any ideas?

Need some clarification:
-What Version Control System is being used?
-Is there an icon being displayed at all, if yes what icon?
-Are the project or files added to Source Control through Developer Studio or outside of the product? (they should be added through Dev Studio in order to have control of their state and change the icons appropriately).

I am getting further now. I see ICONS !
I am using CVS with a plugin to SCC and I have icons but it still seems a bit buggy. If I check in a report the icon still shows a checked out icon. I will continue to debug. Thanks
