Hello,

I am trying to globally change the MRUSER to have lowercase values. How do I do that on cgivars.wfs or some other file?

Currently I have the following on cgivars.wfs

MRUSER = &IBIMR_user
MRUSER(pass)

I don't think I can use -SET and use LOCASE function. I tried something on that line but didn't see m to work.

Thanks,
Sayed

Nevermind, I was able to find the resolution here http://techsupport.informationbuilders.com/sps/21212031.html

make_string_lower(IBIMR_user)
XUSER=&_make_string_lower

-SET &IBIC_user = LOCASE(&IBIC_user.LENGTH, &IBIC_user, 'A&IBIC_user.LENGTH');

in edasprof.prf does the trick for me.

I am curious how you found that tech doc - when I tried searching for make_string_lower, I got nothing.

And I wonder where this is really documented? And are there any other functions like this one?

Francis,

Thanks for your solution. When I did the search, I selected solutions and searched for "&IBIMR_user" and the solution was listed #3 from the top.

Thanks,
Sayed
