Iam using WF8005. Iam creating a pivot report in EXL2K format and it's work fine. I searched for pivot in EXL07 format and got to know EXL07 will not support PIVOT feature(as like EXL2K).
can anyone confirm still we have this limitation in EXL07 format..?
in EXL07, Can we use pivot in excel template file with macros...?

One day we will be able to do in EXL07 or XLSX what we have been able to do for years with EXL2K.
There's a document that outlines what each Excel output format supports, but do you think it's easy to find in Information Builder's "knowledge base"? - No, it's not.

Give me code, or give me retirement. In FOCUS since 1991
Production: WF 7.7.05M, Dev Studio, BID, MRE, WebSphere, DB2 / Test: WF 8.1.05M, App Studio, BI Portal, Report Caster, jQuery, HighCharts, Apache Tomcat, MS SQL Server
As you can see, they have no plans for Pivot in future versions of WebFOCUS.
Hallelujah! We get borders in WF 8.0.09.
I cannot understand introducing a new Excel output format that doesn't support everything the old format could do. Would someone at Information Builders care to explain?
