Yes you are correct. The limit today is 64 connections to SqlSrv. This can be increased if you would like it. Contact regular IBI support and ask them to arrange the increase.
Just a small clarification. The 64 connection limit is per each agent. I have never seen anyone with more than 64 different sql server databases in the same Focexec.
