I never know when my portal actually saves or doesn't. I can be doing a lot of work and go to save and it acts like it saved the report, but when I go to close the report it says something like "wait don't exit, you haven't saved!"

Sometimes, after it doesn't save I can't come back into the report and it will say Status:0. Then it says AJAX Exception: Failed to execute 'send' on 'XMLHttpRequest'. Any ideas?

Can you please identify the version of WebFOCUS you are using? What browser are you using?

Please supply the exact error message and what type of report you were running at the time of the error.

Entering the "XMLHttpRequest" into the search for Focal Point there are several 'hits'.
Can you give this a try and see if anything within Focal Point will help with this issue.

The above answers will help if further research is required.

If you are having trouble with the BI Portal then it would be best to open a case at - Information Builders Technical Support Center - so that your issue can be addressed.
