Information Builders predictive modeling solution, WebFOCUS RStat, is now included with a standard Developer Studio license. RStat allows analysts to locally develop and test comprehensive models and scoring solutions for free within the Developer Studio environment. Business intelligence developers can then use these models to build WebFOCUS scoring applications on any platform. This eliminates the need to work with multiple tools or platforms. This offer does not include deploying models and scoring solutions to WebFOCUS Reporting Servers for which maintenance charges apply.

With WebFOCUS RStat, users can view core business activities from both a historical and a future perspective. By seamlessly combining business intelligence (BI) and data mining into a single, fully integrated environment, WebFOCUS RStat makes it faster, easier, and more cost efficient for companies to build and deploy predictive models as intuitive scoring applications. 2. Scoring routines for Neural Network model with comprehensive output – Enables users to compile NNET models into WebFOCUS functions for creation of applications.
3. Auto sampling for faster visualization of large data sets in the KMeans model – Enables more optimized and efficient resource usage to display Cluster model statistics and data plots.
4. Indicators to Regression models ANOVA table to show significance – Enables users to determine the variables that are significant to the model.
5. Transformation capabilities for scoring routines – Allows for data manipulation within the RStat tool.
6. Enhanced Log functionality – Allows users to create R-scripts for use with other applications, such as a Dialogue Manager application.
7. Process Cancellation capability – Allows users to cancel a long running process from within RStat.
8. Special characters functionality – Enables efficient handling of data with special characters.
9. Timestamp within the RConsole and Log Textview – Enables users to view and match the log with any errors received, thereby allowing for easier troubleshooting.
10. Model optimization – Allows only the variables used to create the model to be included in the exported C file. [In RStat 1.1 all variables selected by the user were included in the model.]
