is there a possibility to use a function like "PRESERVERATIO" to get an image sized in the HTML Report?
The problem is that i need to keep the ratio. But I do not have the possibility to get the dimensions of the picture before I will load it into the report.
Thanks and regards, MarkusThis message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
Markus, please provide a few more details. Is the picture an existing image or is it a graph generated by an earlier step? How are you embedding the image in the HTML report? In normal HTML code you do not have to provide both dimensions of the image, you can provide only one - the other is automatically calculated.
I will extract an image from the sharepoint. That means I will establish an connection to a specified sharepoint subiste and I will extract a picture from there.
But I can not be sure if it is an big picture or a smaller one.
So what I want to have is the possibility to strech or minimize a picture to a size of 8x5 inches
What I tried is after inserting the picture is: POSITION=(3.2 0.4), SIZE=(* 5.5),
But this does not help. If I insert POSITION=(3.2 0.4), SIZE=(8 5.5),
TABLE FILE CAR PRINT 'CAR.ORIGIN.COUNTRY' NOPRINT 'CAR.COMP.CAR' NOPRINT ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM OFF ON TABLE NOTOTAL ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT HTML ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON ON TABLE SET STYLE * TYPE=REPORT, IMAGE='https://&SHARPOINTSYS.EVAL/content/&PROJECTFOLDER.EVALProject organizational chart/&SPIMAGE.EVAL', POSITION=(3.2 0.4), SIZE=(* 5.5), -*PRESERVERATIO=ON, $ ENDSTYLE END
I cannot imagine why PRESERVERATIO=ON is not valid for HTML reports.
This example uses CSS to place an image in a report:
TABLE FILE CAR
SUM SALES
BY COUNTRY
ON TABLE SET PAGE-NUM OFF
ON TABLE PCHOLD AS H001 FORMAT HTMTABLE
ON TABLE SET HTMLCSS ON
ON TABLE SET STYLE *
ENDSTYLE
END
-RUN
-HTMLFORM BEGIN
!IBI.FIL.H001;
<IMG SRC="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1320/5181148312_5f53bf7c02_m.jpg"
style="width: 100px; position:absolute; left: 50px; top: 50px;" />
-HTMLFORM END

I was just granted a New Feature Request to make PRESERVERATIO available for HTML reports. It currently only works for PDF (I don't know about Excel...).
