Can these be used in WebFOCUS. Can we create a MFD based on that.

Hi DW_Dev,

I think you can not able to create MFD using Table-Valued funtions.

Webfocus suppots table,views,MViews and store procedures for MFD.

You can use store procedure return the data as SYS_REFCURSOR.

Thanks for your Replies. Frank we haveSQL server 2005 and there are some table Valued functions and the output of these is what we want to show on the WEBFOCUS report. the Parameter for the Function will be the amper varaibles for the report.
Currently I used SQLpassthru for this.

Don't know if you can create master file for your table valued function. But can't you write a stored procedure that calls the table value function. Then create a master file for the stored procedure.

I tried doing that, but the Master file was not correctly created. So for now I have decided to used SQLPassThru and it works.
