Problems in Drillthrough compound PDF

I have two sections in a PDF

When I have drill through option on BY field, it is navigating to the expected section of the PDF.

Instead of BY, I need to have ACROSS on that field.

When I have ACROSS, Though I get hyperlink under across values, clicking on the link is not taking to the relevant section.
TYPE=ACROSSVALUE
DRILLTHROUGH=DOWN(T1=S1)


How to overcome this issue?

I've, personally, never used DRILLTHROUGH.

Have you contacted your local support branch to see if they can assist you?

DRILLTHROUGH is not available on ACROSSVALUE. It is available only on:

TYPE=HEADING,DATA,FOOTING,SUBHEAD,SUBFOOT,SUBTOTAL and RECAP.

Maybe you can create new columns based on the value of your acrossvalue column so that the user can drillthrough on the column title.

Actually, you can't do that because that would be columnar titles. Maybe you can have the report using BY fields instead of across. This may be your only recourse.

Does it mean that I cannot have Drillthorugh option on ACROSSVALUE and TITLE?

But our requirement is to have Drillthrough option on the title or acrossvalue. Is that limitation being documented in any of the Webfocus document?

That's the information Ken gave when he quoted the documentation -

DRILLTHROUGH is not available on ACROSSVALUE. It is available only on:

TYPE=HEADING,DATA,FOOTING,SUBHEAD,SUBFOOT,SUBTOTAL and RECAP.

Check your help files and you will see.

I began playing with doing a drillthrough on the heading but was unable to put much time into it. Maybe during lunchtime today I will have another look.

The early prognosis is though that you will have to break the news to your users that this is not possible.

Could be a new feature request...
