I want to know how to bypass graphing data points which contain a numeric zero. The zero causes a jagged line. I've tried different values for the 'setfillmissingdata(x)' api call but these don't work. My thought is zero is treated as a value and therefore the line goes to zero.
Would anyone have suggestions on how not to graph a zero value?
Thanks. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
To use fillMissingData property to suppress displaying zeros on the chart, you should change the 0 values to MISSING values, like in the following example:
DEFINE FILE CAR SALES/D8.2 MISSING ON = IF SALES NE 0 THEN SALES ELSE MISSING; END -* GRAPH FILE CAR ON GRAPH SET 3D OFF ON GRAPH SET LOOKGRAPH VLINE ON GRAPH SET VZERO OFF SUM SALES BY COUNTRY ON GRAPH SET GRAPHSTYLE * setFillMissingData(0); ENDSTYLE END
