Drop down and list box components are created in WF7.6.9 using HTML composer. The values are loaded to the components though query in the fex files. so the static value "select" is not getting displayed when the dynamic datas get loaded. Please suggest any option to achieve. We need both static value "Select" and the dynamic values from the fex.

Here is what I have done. May not be the best/most efficient, but it is effective. Bonus points in that mine also loads an otherwise dynamic drop-down menu.

Amazingly, I was recently asked to have "Select...", "All" and the dynamic values as options for a select list. I used the ALL feature as FreSte suggests, then used JavaScript to prepend the Select - not pretty.

Hi Francis, FreSte,

I was just looking for the same requirement where I have to have a 'ALL' option and the dynamic values that comes from query to be loaded to the dropdown.

Somehow the link provided by FreSte is unavailable. Page cannot be displayed is what I get.

Kindly suggest a solution.

It should be an option in the "Canvas editor" in App Studio. In Dev Studio, when a drop-down list is selected, in the Properties and settings window, there's an option called 'Add "All" option'.
