Hello All, I have phone numbers in a field like this 2121112222 in a field. I'd like to write up something to detect data entry error like 212111 222 or 212111-222 etc etc. How do I detect anything that is not number at all that could be a character or a blank or a dash - or anything else in that number? I know that CHKFMT can verify if that is a string or a number but wont detect those issues I just described above. How do I do that? any suggestions? Thanks in advance! This message has been edited. ya, I think I got it with CHKFMT finally. I am testing the data and seems to be working. Then I am all set. I will post new questions on this very same topic if I have any other questions. Thank you!
