Gobi,
In my experience this happens when something illegal has been generated in PDF.
I suggest you change:
ON TABLE PCHOLD FORMAT PDF
to
ON TABLE HOLD FORMAT PDF
and run with &ECHO=ALL

I would do what I always do when an unexplainable error occurs - comment out most of the code, run the report, if it works, uncomment a few related lines, run the report, if it works, uncomment a few related lines, run the report, if it works... until the offending line is found. Then either open a case with IBI or provide the details here on FocalPoint. As it stands, your question is, perhaps, a little vague.

Is it a coincidence that PDF Report Error when running in Linux, Webfocus 763 and your problem are both Linux PDF problems?

It also helps to run the report to HTML and view the source to see if there's an underlying error even though you get output. Chances are there is an error.
