I have tried to search for EXL2K output that will print a solid or dash line under a Column Title. This is not a Underline, but a seperate row under Column Titles that will store a Solid line. I believe this will work as a PDF or HTML, but I need this for Excel. I am working with WebFocus 7.1, but will have a new release shortly.

May one ask why?
I don't think you can get there from here? Of course I could be completely off base. I do know that if you put such things as '_' in a column say, it comes strange in excel as far as fitting across the cell.

We have Executives in the Company that do not want to format an Excel spreadsheet evertime they run my program. BUT, they do like Excel as their Output (possibly for future Analysis).I hope this helps with your question.

I have thought of an excel template but have not tried this yet. BUT, what if as a Department/Company standard, we want excel output, and reports change, do you still suggest using a template?? I would like to have the solid line under the column/s in every program I run, that would be Opened in excel. Any other suggestions, other than a template?
