Using DBA Security for file access with MRE works fine with FEX running entirely on First Reporting Server(Hub). But with FEX having REMOTE DEST=WEBFOCUS REMOTE USER=IADMIN REMOTE PASS=passwd -MRNOEDIT BEGIN -REMOTE BEGIN -SET &ECHO=ALL; SET TRACEOFF=ALL SET TRACEON=STMTRACE//CLIENT SET TRACEON=SQLAGGR//CLIENT SET TRACEUSER=ON SET XRETRIEVAL=ON
englobing a TABLE FILE search, the DBA security on that second Reporting server(Sub) is not in action, so data extraction is too wide. The PERMPASS gets to the first one with IBIF_dbapass_src set to MR ID, but I have the impression that &IBIC_user is what is used on the REMOTE server.
Setting REMOTE USER=&IBIMR_user does not solve anything even with a specific user & passwd instead of &IBIMR_user.
Any help on this will be appreciated.
Everything 7.6.8 with Tomcat. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Kerry,
Can you please let us know: where you have the DBA, on the hub or sub? And how are you passing SET USER to gain access to the file? More information will be needed to better understand the problem.
Cheers,
Kerry
