The way I was trying to solve it was to create a hold file for all Approver1's and another for all Approver2's and then to UNION the hold files. But I can't find any way to do a UNION in INFOassist.
Thanks for any help! This message has been edited. Last edited by: Tamra,
Okay, so I'm not such an experienced user. Where within the INFOassist application does one do this type of coding? Can you do it through the INFOassist client or is it required to have server access? The only place where I'm familiar with any type of coding is the the Data tab using the Detail (Define) and Summary (Compute) functions.
Since as you indicate you are fairly new to WebFOCUS may I suggest opening a case with Information Builders technical support – at InfoResponse - https://techsupport.informationbuilders.com/ .
The suggestion provided is a bit more detailed and needs to be entered into the editor. A Technical Support Representative can assist you with this once a case has been opened. You can also call into the Helpdesk to open a case at 1-800-736-6130.
